Hi there Luis. I've recently had to update a project to a newer version of Unity because I wasn't able to get the parallax extension working. The parallax layers would not show up at all during runtime. after some digging I saw that this was a bug with the older versions, and I've also recently seen your comments on others posts about similar issues. After updating to Unity 2022.2.21f1 I'm able to get the parallax effect working on my layers however, my global light does not affect them and so all sprites are showing up black. I've tried changing the sorting layers, for the light culling, but nothing seems to be working. Do you have an idea where I could be going wrong? It's getting to the point that I'm spending more time trying to fix this issue than I am actually working on my game, and I would really like to be able to take advantage of this asset, as I don't want to feel like I wasted money on an asset that I can't even use. any help would be much appreciated! Jesse EDIT: So after some more tinkering, I figured out that by changing the global light to its own layer and including said layer in the parallax extension the background sprites are actually affected by the light now. (See photo for example) So if anyone has the same problem I did, remember to include the global light in the parallax layers and it should all be working fine!
