So I don't know if I'm missing something but I set up a scene exactly like the basic Camera Window scene where I just wanted the Camera to follow a player on the YZ axes. The camera does seem to follow the player but it moves much faster than the player and eventually moves further ahead with the player no longer in view. It happens both in the positive and negative directions on the Z-axis for some reason. I don't have any other extensions enabled and I've tried changing the window size from 0,0 up to 1,1 for both axes and neither seem to help. I've tried using the extensions like pan and zoom, content fitter, forward focus, etc. but none of them seem to change the behaviour at all. I do have the camera as a child of a camera rig but I don't think that would affect it, I don't have any other scripts affecting the camera position currently. There is also only one target for it to follow and that is the player.
I am using a character controller from a different package, is that perhaps affecting it? Also I've noticed if I disable and re-enable to component it seems to save some sort of delta or change in the Z direction and instantly jumps to where it would have been if I had left it on. Using camera.Reset() and camera.CenterOnTargets don't override this behaviour either. Any help would be appreciated!
