So, I think I already know the answer to this, but I'm going to go ahead and ask anyway, just to be clear.
I have an interior scene. The scene has a background wall. Obviously, I don't want this wall to scroll. It's on the sorting layer that's farthest away and it's farthest away on the zed.
I can't add it to a parallax layer and set the speed to zero. This makes the background wall completely static and it just follows the player as though the player isn't even moving. This obviously isn't the case, because the character is running parallel to this non-moving wall.
I also can't match the speed on this parallax camera with the speed of the player, since the speed of the player is variable.
The only way to get the correct behavior is to set this layer as visible to the main camera. However, doing this puts the wall in front of the objects (columns and such) that I *DO* want to parallax and those objects are no longer visible.
Am I correct in assuming that I'm just going to have to go with a perspective view on the main camera and not use the parallax features in Pro Camera or is there some kind of setup that I'm overlooking?
