Hello,
It seems like the Transition FX extension does not work with the new Unity Light Weight Render Pipeline.
Adding LWRP results in the transitions not shown.
We don't have any special configurations, mostly out of the box for a 2D project and the transitions are not shown.
I'll appreciate some advice.

Hi fechy, Unfortunately the new SRP's are not yet ready for production and their API is a moving target. Stuff like camera stacking and other features are not present yet so it makes the TransitionsFX and Parallax extensions unsupported for the time being under those pipelines. I do plan to update once things settle down, but not before. Until then my recommendation is to stick to the default renderer or find another alternative for the transitions. Cheers

Parallax already works in URP. TransitionsFX still doesn't because I haven't had the time on how to do it, or if it's even possible.
I'll keep you posted on the progress!

I was able to get close, but my knowledge of rendering is very little.
I copied your TransitionFX script verbatim, but changed the "BasicBlit" to my own "BasicBlitSRP"
After much investigating, it sounds like what you want to use is an event callback from "RenderPipelineManager.endFrameRendering", instead of using "OnRenderImage" --- which is no longer called with the Scriptable Render Pipeline
So my BasicBlitSRP script looks like this,
This gets close, but it isn't acting transparent. I'm not sure where else to take this, maybe you will know Luis? It keeps all of your TransitionFX script intact, except for changing the Blit script.

rockyfelix Unfortunately my shaders knowledge is fairly limited and I don't know how to fix that issue. Did you find out the problem?

Hi, I tested this, rockyfelix's code works for transitions and can also be used for letterbox, nice job! Code part is solved, but the old shaders will not work for URP, you need to replicate them with shadergraph (or adapt them, which seems harder) What do you think? Should we look for another solution in the short term?

netzah Unfortunately I didn't have the time to look into this yet. And my shader knowledge is very limited, so honestly I wouldn't know where to start looking. Any hints?

Luís Pedro Fonseca You have to apply rockyfelix's code fix to transitions and letterbox (or other solution to avoid the use of traditional blit), and then rework each transition shader with shadergraph to create urp compatible shaders, and also adapt the code that controls the shaders like "CurrentMaterial.SetFloat" to the new shaders. Maybe this should be shipped in an unitypackage file which only urp users should install to make transitions and letterbox run. I know its a big deal, just want to know if you can do this in the sort term, else I will make it my own way, but its a shame because I have transitionsFX and letterbox integrated all over my project and are great systems. netzah Unfortunately I can't give you a time estimate as I've been very busy between my fulltime job and family matters. If your game is dependant on it, my recommendation is to move forward with your own solution. Sorry for the inconvenience.
