We're using multiple background layers and Pro Camera 2D for Parallax (btw it'd be really cool to implement something like this on pc2d), but we'd like to know what suggested or recommended image size you guys would have for the background images. We want to maintain crip backgrounds as much as possible but don't know if we should use a 4k texture or some alternative. What are you guys doing on your games? What recommendations do you have?

That's totally going to depend on your game. Instead of using multiple huge textures, it's probably better to compose your backgrounds of multiple elements.

Hadn't thought of that, you're right. I'll give it a shot. Should I create an atlas?
Having said that though, in case it's a huge texture, what recommendations would you have?
Thanks.

My recommendation is to not use a huge texture.
